Size Guide

Vintage sizing is its own sport. Tags lie, measurements don't. Here is how we measure every garment, flat on a table.

How we measure

  • Pit to pit: straight across the chest from armpit seam to armpit seam.
  • Length: from the top of the shoulder next to the collar down to the bottom hem.
  • Waist: across the top of the waistband, doubled. Boardshorts are listed by tagged waist size.
  • Inseam: crotch seam to leg opening.

Rough conversion

Pit to pit (flat)Modern fit
19 to 20"S
21 to 22"M
23 to 24"L
25 to 26"XL

Era notes

80s gear runs small and boxy, so size up. 90s gear is oversized by design, and a 90s L usually wears like a modern XL. Y2K pieces run long and baggy, which is great over a hoodie. When in doubt, compare against something you own, or ask us and we will measure anything on request.
